No DLCs? [SOLVED]

I installed the game correctly, no error messages or anything, and yet when I actually play the game there are no dlc options. None at all, the game doesn't think I have any installed which is very odd considering I added every dlc to date. Does anyone know how I can fix this?
I should also mention that the main menu is the original main menu that comes with the base game, rather than the newer main menu that shows you all your installed dlc.
Update: After reinstalling TS4 it now recognises SOME but not all dlc, and crashes on hitting new game.
Solution: (for anyone who is lacking a few brain cells like me...)
Run TS4_x64 NOT TS4.

Welcome to the Forum @tozzie,
Did you copy/paste the DLC under Documents\Electronic Arts? If yes, then that is not the correct location.
DLC files/updates must be installed under C:\Program files (x86)\The Sims 4. Of course, whenever you are prompted to overwrite existing files, choose "yes".

Yes I followed the guide exactly, the files are in the correct place. I'm currently attempting a reinstall, so we'll see if that works.
Update: The game now starts with this menu, but not all of the dlc are listed as owned...

Ah I finally fixed the problem! Bit of a silly fix really, all I had to do was run TS4_x64 instead of TS4..... well hopefully someone can learn from my mistakes:

It's technically not a mistake, as - I believe - some DLC require a 64-bit operating system (and using the 64-bit "version" of the game - the TS4_x64.exe). Either way, we are going to re-write some guides to accomodate the issue.
Was there anything else for the moment you wanted to ask, or can we mark the topic as "solved"?
