Household Not Appearing in Library

Hi Everyone. A part of me thinks I'm posting this question in the wrong section but

my problem is, another simmer on tumblr has made me a household with a couple sims. He gave me the download link and I went to download the household. I put the household in my tray folder and it is not showing up in my library. It's really disappointing because I really wanted to play with this household.

If anyone could help me, it would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

First, make sure that on the game options you are allowing for third party CC. Second when you open your libary scroll down on the left hand side and allow for custom content, check that box. See if this solve your problem.
