CAS menus not appearing

I have never had a problem doing the updates in this game before, but after Cats and Dogs, when I go into CAS, I can see the sim in question but none of the menus open up. I have to use task manager to end the game at this point because the buttons become unresponsive. I have taken out my mods folder and started the game that way and still have this problem. Does anyone else? If so, is there a fix?

Is it possible to update us as well on what causes the menu to disappear and what steps you took to solve the bug?

My game is unplayable due to this. Would love some feedback and if there is a fix.

Hello sorry I just saw this: I had the mod installed that made my CAS menus 4 across instead of 2 across, and the old version is what caused the menus to not appear. There is an updated version of it that I can link if you need the new one!

Any mods relating to CAS should be removed because many of them are broken. CC relating to CAS can be fixed with sims 4 studio
