Error Code 3
Hi,
I've downloaded all of the files for TS4, installed the base game and extracted the rest of the files with WinRAR. The game will boot, however, on the loading screen, I receive a popup saying "The game failed to load. Error code: 3." Despite this, I can still interact with the menu and, specifically, noticed that all the DLCs (except for the two free packs) were installed. When I went to start a game, I was sent back to the menu and received the same error message. Any idea what's going on?
Edit: I've fixed the problem by deleting existing game files. Thanks for the crack
Edit 2: It would appear my last edit was somewhat premature. I can load the game and create a sim, however, when choosing where to live, I have 0 funds, cannot select any houses and a weird icons containing a pegasus (a winged unicorn) are at various points on the screen. Not sure what's going on.

Re: Error Code 3
It all depends on what DLC's you have installed and in Which order.
Usually re-copying the latest Game folder would solve the problems with infinite loading of households
But using the latest Game folder, based on the Codex crack, on The Sims 4 updated to f.e. City Living is not advisable

I've installed the DLCs in the order listed on the instruction page. I did opt to download and install the Game folder fix, rather than rename the game folder. I'm not entirely sure how to proceed.

In that case DELETE the existing folder Game from your install folder and replace by the latest folder GameDatOfficially wrote:I've installed the DLCs in the order listed on the instruction page.
