Help installing world adventures on mac![CLOSED]

So I'm trying to install WA on my mac, but .. I can't. It says that I've got to open a patch.. wich is a .exe file? I just doesn't work!! help meeeeee!

Oh, this is the SKU thing on Windows. Hmmmm...
We need to find out how to change the "SKU" code on Macs.

Yeah, I also noticed that,but I didn't know how to.. you know, find a "regedit" type program on my Mac, so I tried Terminal, but it didn't work. )

This might be interesting;

"for mac:

go to the application> show package content> content>
resources> transgaming> c-drive> program files> electronic
arts> the sims 3> game> Bin> Then open Default.ini with text
edit. Scroll all the way down to the bottom where it says GameVersion =
1.8.25.003001 change the end one to 2 (or whatever regional number
works for you) like this GameVersion = 1.8.25.003002 then close and
save. And that's it"

Okay so I installed it and it said that it was successfully installed. Then I applied the ultimate fix.. but when I opened the game.. it didn't show that I had WA, it just said " The sims 3, Generation.. " And then I can only play Generations, nothing about WA comes up..??

Does anybody wanna help? ) been waiting for a reply a long time now.. Sorry for my eagerness but I'd really love to play the game.

well no because one of them is still an .exe file that I have to run..?
