Inability to move in after seasons. Shows "$0" and won't let me load into anything in game. [SOLVED]

tl;dr version, No CC or scripts installed, 1.44.83.1020, even updated the strings and did everything on the "How to install Sims 4 Correctly" article. The game won't let me in.

Loads into, correctly, I guess, but when I click the check mark in CAS to move in, it'll say 'Select a place to move in'  But the funds will say:  '$0' and the bottom right will be the create a new household to move in button. And this is a loop... so I literally cant play the game...

Sims validator come back with this and this only:

Thats everything lol the only thing i didn't say was the fact that i followed the "132:2f1962c8:a309d3c4" error thread.

Hash mismatch came back with nothing.

There should be "hash mismatch", "missing files" and "unknown files". Right click, select all, right click, copy.

There was nothing in the report. It came back with nothing. Everything is where it's supposed to be.

You know you're arguing with creator of that tool? If something breaks it won't show the result at all.

I'm telling you it looked exactly like the image you posted without a list. I'm not arguing with you. I'm telling you what I got. Those exact three lines, and that's it. Nothing to scroll.

And I'm telling you that's impossible. Run validator again and post full report here.

Have you already tried DELETING the subfolder "Game" from your TS4 installation, and then re-downloading a fresh folder? Get it here:

The main download links contain the Game-folder for version 1.44.83.1020. Then try the game again, after putting the fresh-folder in.

Forget that validator for the time being. This thing with the 0$ funds and "endless loop" (being thrown back to the household selection in the neighborhood) is a known bug, that is - normally - fixed by deleting the old Game-folder and applying a fixed one.

If you haven't done so already, please also ensure that there is no interference with anti-virus software or similar things. A.k.a. please add the necessary exclusion-locations to your anti-virus software and/or turn the thing off, for the moment.

And do what The_gh0stm4n said earlier. Delete "Game" folder and download most recent one. You've skipped that step from the guide.

Okay okay, it worked. I don't understand what the difference was though. The thread talking about 'error to load' with a bunch of letters said to apply the 'fixed' folder and strings, and I still got that issue. Only difference I made was completely deleting it and applying the one in this thread. I'm confused, but hey, I loaded into the game so, yay I guess?

Yes, they changed something about the code of the game, so that simply copying the "fixed"-folder over the old one doesn't work, in my experience at least. You have to delete the old folder, and the place the new one down. Note that for future updates you shouldn't need to re-do this step again (unless stated otherwise in the included instructions). So future updates can be copy-pasted as a whole again, including the "Game"-folder.

Yeah, solved. Now I gotta worry about what mods work and which don't. I got over 10,000..

As fun fact: using the "motherlode"-cheat in the above error will give you 50,000$, but you still won't be able to load into a household. Either way, have fun with the game and feel free to get in touch with us again, anytime! Just open a new thread then.
