Game redirects me to the worlds menu

Hi! So I've been using your base game for a while and I had a saved game before I updated all of the new eps etc etc. I followed the instructions very carefully so I have no idea what I must have done wrong? or what's happening anyway.

I have a 64-bit Windows operating system btw, after I updated everything following the instructions the game opened and seemed to work fine. I created a new sim just fine, problem is that the game only lets me play on my old household from my saves. It's the only one that actually proceeds and I enter the house just fine. 

Everytime I click on any unoccupied or occupied or even move a sim somewhere and then click the play button, it shows the loading screen and then it goes back to the worlds menu.

I tried using the 32bit version too (since I used to use the 32bit when I just had the base game) moved the folder to the x86 program filew folder just like the instructions said, JUST in case it worked there but I had the same problem.


I looked around the forum in case I found a similar problem solution but nothing seemed to fix it

1. Do you use mods ?
2. Have you DELETED (or changed the name of) the Game folder and then re-copied the Game folder from your latest download ?

Yes I do use Mods for custom content only (like clothes, hair and stuff like that)
Yes I have, I actually had it renamed and kept it there, but then I deleted it in case that was the problem and it wasn't I guess

You probably need to update your mods and CC. SimsVIP has a list of broken/updated mods, Sims 4 Studio can fix most of CC.

I dont think the problem was the mods tho... But regardless I tried removing the mods just cause u never know and I still have the same problem

My iso file from this: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t32895-the-sims-4-all-in-one-including-seasons-version-1-44-77-1020 suggestion right here just finished downloading and this version works! I guess there might have been a a bug in my base game? Not sure.

Anyone experiencing this problem try this solution.
