Installing The Sims 3 and Expansions

Hi, there!
I've downloaded and installed The Sims 3 and some expansion packs before on a older computer that I had, and it worked great!
But now I want to install them on my new computer. I have looked around on the forum for guides where I can find out how I can install, ALL the Sims 3 expansions from scratch!
The problem is that I don't remember if I need to apply all fixes and patches for every expansion, if I'm going to install them all? I have seen this guide, but I think it's not detailed enough for me: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1171-must-read-how-to-install-the-sims-3-correctly-updated

Hello,
I can't tell you more than that guide you're mentioning already told you. Just follow that guide, don't apply any cracks (or patches) until you're done installing everything, then use the fix to patch and crack your game.

So I should just install everything, WITHOUT applying ANYTHING, and then apply the fix to the last expansion?

Hello,
That's right, don't apply anything at all, except of course for serial keys, and if you get a game region error during installation of Outdoor Living stuff and/or World Adventures you should follow the #Installation Guide's step-by-step of changing SKU.
After you've installed everything, apply the manual patch to avoid the "invalid file" error.
After that, all you really need to do is open the fix (with winRAR) and go to the folder named #crack and apply these files to the appropriate location as described in its #Installation Guide.

No, but its recommended to install Generations, Town Life stuff, Pets or master Suite stuff first.

Sorry I edited my post after seeing that question, the answer is no, you don't need it. You'd only use it to update, which is more easily done manually anyway.

donwload Origin? Do I need to do that? Cause I don't know what that is.

Hello,
No, you do not need Origin. It's used to update the game via EA's servers, but that's not necessary, since you can always use the (recommended) manual patch: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1870-can-t-update-the-sims-3-to-v129-fix-manual-patch

IT WORKED !
In the beginning it crashed twice when I was going to build my home, but i restarted the computer, and it seems to work now!

Those are the Sims store updates. If you have a legal game, you can get an account and buy extra things for your game like furniture, lots, hairstyles etc.
G4TW has all of these available as well. Free of cost of course
That link takes you to a mediafire account that has all store items since 2009.
