I try to install my expansion packs,but i am really confused.I install Sims 3 and when i install the packs it appears a box that my Sims base game needs update ,i let it to make the update after it installs.Then i start the launcher and it says to me that my base game needs update because expansion pack is incompatible (if i let it to update => 1.31 and i read that there it isn`t a fix for that so i cancel the update),i installed 1.29 patch and the launcher still says the same thing and if i ignore it and press play ,it doesn`t work or enters in the game and blocks when loading.
What should i do?

Did you use the fix? I know it says "not working" but it will work with version 1.29.

Can you show a screenshot, with detailed view (of file types etc.), of the folder you copied files to during step 13?

Hello,
Ok that's the exact file you should've copied to the base game\bin.
If you intend to reinstall, don't forget to restart your pc first, and use the manual 1.29 patch after installing the base game.

Hello,
Yes, your new install will be corrupted if you don't restart the pc between uninstalling and reinstalling, it wont work.

I restarted my computer and started to install the Sims.When exactly i have to install 1.29 after i installed The Sims 3 or after installing expansion packs?

Hello,
Well, you can do both, but if you do the manual patch right after the base game, you wont be prompted to patch again when you install an expansion.

Hello!
I realised where i was having the real trouble.When i have to put the fix ,i really don`t get where are have these files to be replaced,actually for example Sims Pets goes to Sims 3/game/bin also does the crack an the base game .Is it correct what i am doing?

Hello,

I recommend waiting for the Ultimate Fix to be updated, so you can safely update to v1.31 . It may fix your error as well. Just be patient!
