Laundry disappearing from the washing machine

Hi
My problem is that when I have placed laundry in the washing machine, it disappears the next time i go and see if its ready. It wont have any options when i click it, the upgrades one says "cant upgrade when laundry is inside". Also it doesnt seem there is anything in the machine visually. This has happened before, then I just bought a new machine and it worked fine until now. I dont remember if I had put the machine on (how stupid that I have to select laundry -> add to washing machine and still the sim wont automatically put the machine ON.
) or just placed the laundry in it and forgot.
Tried restarting the game since I noticed this problem when I started my game just now.

I am having the same issue. Everything else works great in the game but my laundry machines. I have tried moving it, not stacking it, made sure shelves were not over it, moved them to another room etc. Is anyone else having this issue???

95% of all problems in Sims games is caused by mods/CC

Not using either. Will see what happens after downloading the latest update.

Better try this and post the result here. If it's not mods, then you messed up installation order.

Could it be that I need to delete the 'Game_' folder? I wasn't quite sure if I was supposed to delete that after installing everything.

I don't know if this will help, but deleting those files won't hurt for sure. You don't need them. If that doesn't help try renaming "Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4" folder and running the game.
