Unable to start error?

So, my Sims 4 game was working perfectly until a few days ago. I tried running it and got an error saying "Cannot start because game data is missing or damaged. If you have mods installed please remove them and try again. If not, please repair or reinstall the game via Origin." I don't have mods or cc, so I know that's not the problem, and I've never used any form of Origin.

I did run the validator and this is what it's saying:

Report is clean. Are you sure you're starting the correct exe? If you're starting with shortcut - right click and "show location" to make sure it's inside the folder you selected in validator.

Try moving "Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4" to desktop and see if the game starts now.

Okay, I figured out what happened. My cache folder somehow ended up in my "Mods" folder instead of just "The Sims 4."
