First I would like to say thank you to games4theworld for everything they've helped me with for my years of using this site. Thanks so much!

My issue is that my Sims 4 game will not start. I have downloaded every expansion and stuff pack from gamesfortheworld and followed the instructions closely.

Through troubleshooting in the forum, I have tried downloading a Game folder from the update 1.46 thread, tweaking the language strings, editing the registry so that it matches where my game is installed, and adding several pathways to my list of exceptions in my antivirus settings.

I'm positive I've done something wrong along the way, I'm just unsure of what it is.

I've attached the error message and my validator results. Thanks to anyone who may be able to help me out!

Delete "Game_" folder to clean up.

1. Do you still have base game installer? You're missing files from base game:
data/client/clientfullbuild0.package
data/client/clientfullbuild1.package
data/client/clientfullbuild2.package
data/client/clientfullbuild3.package
data/client/clientfullbuild4.package
data/client/clientfullbuild5.package
data/client/clientfullbuild6.package
data/client/clientfullbuild7.package
data/client/clientfullbuild8.package

2. What did you download, "The Sims 4 Seasons - Update 1.46.18.1020.iso" or " TS4_Game_folder_1-46-18-1020 .rar"? Because some files are not updated.

Thank you.

1. Yes, I still have the base game installer.

2. I downloaded "The Sims 4 Seasons - Update 1.46.18.1020.iso" first. Then later when I was trying to get the game to start I also downloaded "TS4_Game_folder1-46-18-1020.rar"

You will have to install the base game again to get the missing files.

Move your current installation folder. For example to "C:\Program Files\The Sims 4". Install the base game again - it will always install to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4". Move those files from new installation to your current installation folder:
data/client/clientfullbuild0.package
data/client/clientfullbuild1.package
data/client/clientfullbuild2.package
data/client/clientfullbuild3.package
data/client/clientfullbuild4.package
data/client/clientfullbuild5.package
data/client/clientfullbuild6.package
data/client/clientfullbuild7.package
data/client/clientfullbuild8.package
After that you can delete new installation folder. And then from Update 1.46 copy and replace "Data/Client" folder.
