Getting error message after installing Parenthood. [SOLVED]

So I've been downloading and installing Sims 4 following the instructions here (with the original G4TW download packs):

I installed Base Game - Toddlers/Vampires/Bowling update and I was able to load the game, everything worked fine. Then I installed Parenthood, and when I tried to load the game, I got this error message:

"Cannot start because required game data is missing or damaged. Please try reinstalling the game. [85262c58:29f00e76:00000000:00000000]"

When I installed Parenthood, I had two Game folders, "Game" and "Game_". I'm only supposed to have one Game folder, right? Should I copy+paste the "Game" folder from Parenthood and place it in the "Game_" folder?

I did that and I solved that problem. Now I'm having another issue. I successfully installed the 1.45 patch update using your installer. But when I tried to install the 1.46 update and some of the DLCs with setup.exe, I got this error message:


'An error occurred while decompressing: Archive header is corrupt!
Unarc.dll returned an error code: -14
ERROR: this is not FreeArc archive or this archive is corrupt

I read in another post that someone else had this same issue, and I did the same thing that you advised them to do (using hash and verify bin files.bat) and I got the same error message. It also says ISDone.dll. I guess I'm missing this file. I have Base-Parenthood and the 1.45 Patch update installed.

By "same error message" I assume you got "CRC mismatch" message. In that case redownload the patch file again (or force check if you're downloading with torrent). And disable your anti-virus for installation. Some of them block ISDone.dll.

I re-downloaded the patch, installed it and it worked this time. Thanks for your help.
