The program can't start because orangeemu.dll is missing. Empty The program can't start because orangeemu.dll is missing.

Hello, I'm writing this post because since I tried to update my sims 4 game from seasons to 1.46.18.1020 I've had this problem when trying to open it. I usually play with the TS4 file and it always works, but now everytime I click it I get the message that it cannot be started because OrangeEmu.dll is missing. I DID turn off all of my antivirus. Windows defender, firewall, avast... Everything. I've reinstalled but I still get the same error. What should I do??

Okay so now I downloaded a new Game folder provided in a reply here, the game works now But the "Caribbean" items from the last update do not show up.

Did you download the folder from the thread here?
https://www.games4theworld.club/t29990-fix-for-endless-household-loading-error-code-3-game-starts-unexpectedly-in-spanish-version-1-46-18-1020

Maybe you accidentally grabbed a wrong-folder (for an earlier patch version).

Alternatively, try re-applying the 1.46.18.1020 update, so copy/paste the update files over your Sims 4 installation, and overwrite all existing files.

I got it from this thread that was posted today so I believe it's an updated folder.https://www.games4theworld.club/t34236-orangeemu64-dll-can-t-be-found And yeah, I did overwrite all the files with the last update now with the new Game folder. At this point I think I'll just wait for the next update...

Sorry to hear about your frustrations with the game; you're right that dealing with this DRM-free Sims 4 game can be a pain (if that is what you were in fact implying). However, from my experience with the game you're not likely going to be more successful once the next update comes around.

You said you "updated from Seasons to 1.46.18.1020". Was the game working before you applied the 1.46.18.1020 patch? If it was working fine, then there is not really much in my opinion that can go wrong by applying the 1.46 patch.

To have more clarity, please use the validator from anadius here, and post back with the results:

(you guessed it right, I suspect something may have gone wrong with your game before you even applied the latest patch). Good luck for now!  Yess, aye lieeke!
