All-In-One ISO Mounting
Hi everyone,
This may be a dumb question but I am recently re-downloading the TS4 from here after deleting it before the All-In-One version was released. I have never dealt with mounting ISO's before and I am slightly confused about what process I need to follow to mount the file. I could not find any similar questions on this thread and was not too clear on other ISO mounting tutorials I found since the poweriso seems to have multiple uses and I'm not entirely sure what mounting an ISO even does.
What do I need to do to mount the ISO and install the game, and after I am done, am I able to delete the original ISO file much like a zipped folder in the individual game installs?
Thanks!

Re: All-In-One ISO Mounting
ISO files can be mounted in Windows 8.1 or more recent versions (same say even from Windows 7 upwards) by rightclicking on the downloaded iso and then Open with ... Explorer.
In older Windows versions you need an aditional program like Poweriso or Daemon to mount the iso.
Once mounted you'll see all the files/folders related to the Sims 4 all-in. (simular to an extracted .rar or 7zip)
Just opy these files/folders to your (external) harddisk but make sure the destination folder is not named Origin, Origin Games, Electronic Arts aso)
Then open - in your detination folder - Game\Bin and make a shortcut of TS4 or TS4_x64.exe.
Yes, when everything works fine, you can delete the .iso if you wish
Beware: as soon as you mount the .iso it can be attacked by your anti-virus.
Method 2 Look at your systemtray (taskbar right-end corner for either a poweriso icon or click on the ^-sign Rightclick on the Poweriso-icon Click on Mount image to player .. Search for the required iso to mount Your virtual CD is now in a virtual CD-player and can be treated as if you have a real CD in a real CD-player. (see first image where I have 2 Poweriso stations, can be recognised by the golden CD. In my case players G and M)

How to use Poweriso
When Poweriso is installed you have 2 different ways to mount a downloaded iso on your virtual drive. Method 1 Right-click on a downloaded iso A pop-up-menu will appear Click on Poweriso Mount your iso to one of your virtual drives Your virtual CD is now in a virtual CD-player and can be treated as if you have a real CD in a real CD-player.
