Game world select is blank

Hello,

I am currently re-downloading TS4 on my new laptop. So far I have up to Laundry Day downloaded, however I just went to start a game and the world select is completely blank. I looked through the forums and the only solution I found was to run the validator and post the results, so here:

Install Cats & Dogs again.

I did, now it's giving me an error message; "Unable to start: the contents of your user data directory were created by a newer version of sims 4 and cannot be loaded. Please update your game via origin to play."

I never got these errors downloading on my old laptop, and I know I installed everything correctly and in order.

Update: I deleted my game version text file and everything seems to be working now. Only problem is, Despite having every other pack, laundry day seems to be missing. Not a huge deal, and I'm assuming it will resolve itself eventually when I finish downloading the rest of the games.

Never delete that file. You're just asking for bugs. Just install again everything after Cats & Dogs.

You should also delete those files:
