GET FAMOUS GLITCH WITH MAKEUP AND HAIR SALON

So, the game works fine, but the only problem is my actress sim goes to get her hair and makeup done by the stylist and the quest for it for her job doesn't light up to show she did it... meaning it thinks she didn't?? What could be the possible problem here? I don't have any mods or anything installed. I installed the sims 4 all in one, and everything works fine except that feature..

Apparently, a lot of people were having this issue, cracked or not. There's been a patch but people also said getting in costume first will fix it, as will Shift and right click for debug menu supposedly worked for some.
