Post by Guest Sun 26 May 2019, 08:53

I DLed and installed the game from your site and this is the error message I get everytime I attempt to play it, I followed the directions on the notepad file included and it still gives me this error message
I have a Screen shot of this error message but as a new member I can't post external links.  Contact me and I will share with you.  Thank you!

What do I do to correct this.

From main forum page: "The "games4theworld.org" website is NOT actively used anymore by the current G4TW team; some of the information there may be outdated, or the download list may be incomplete. We are planning to keep working on the new "games4theworld.club" domain, but you can still treat the old website as a sort of archive. For more up-to-date information on our work, please follow this Forum here. Thank you!"

At the top of the forum there's "All Games4theworld downloads" button. And the up-to-date instructions can be found here: https://www.games4theworld.club/t21806-must-read-how-to-install-the-sims-4-correctly

But it isn't the Sims 4 I want to install or that I am having issues with.......its The Sims I The Complete Collection Yeah it was an update message or something about having updated something after I installed makin magic and I didn't update or do anything I installed then ran it.  So I went to the page you directed me too and OMFG they want me to do this and then do that to get the DL to the game!  Or am I missing something.

Sorry for the slightly belated reply,

But can you try and be slightly more detailed in what the error is that you are encountering? Did you even download the item from G4TW, or was it from a different uploader?

Because the installer from G4TW installs everything in one go. And when you start it up for the first time, you will get a few loading screens (with the DLC), that should go away when they're all through. Did you also extract the contents of the .rar download with WinRAR (if you downloaded from G4TW), and into an empty folder, before running the installation?

Not sure if it applies to your problem, but this may be related:
