Late Night install broke my game. [SOLVED] Empty Late Night install broke my game. [SOLVED]

I had all expansion packs besides Late Night & Word Adventures installed and running fine. I installed Late Night as I would any other expansion pack from your website and now my game won't load. I can get to the launcher but when I try to load it my screen goes black and then the game crashes.
I'm playing from a disk and with origin's launcher. I have some expansions on disk and it would take ages to reinstall the game so I skipped that section. I assumed it had been fixed in later patches

Any fix for this? Or do I have to completely reinstall my game?

nevermind I got it working again

after deleting and replacing the Electronic Arts folder in documents with an earlier backup and then applying the sims 3 "ultimate patch"

I guess you go the error because you did not apply the "Ultimate Fix" before (and instead played with a disc), but then I admit I'm not sure. Either way, have fun with the game! Problem solved, topic closed.
