Unable to Access Households (Bugged UI/Error)
Hi, I'm really unsure if this is a mod related problem or something that happened when I was installing the dlc's, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to fix it.
After I create a household and move them into a plot of land, on the overmap, all the households become inaccessible and their pictures become blinking blue squares. The problem started randomly in 1.46, which leads me to believe it might be something I did. I went through all of my mods to see if they were the problem and the blue square did not return, however, now I'm getting the problem where entering a household kicks me back to the world selection screen. If I try to select a world, I get an error code and the game has to close. This is an issue regardless of the household having cc or not.
I ran the validator and the only thing that came up is this:
I'm just really at a loss on where to begin aside from wiping everything.

game/bin/orangeemu.dll

Re: Unable to Access Households (Bugged UI/Error)
Do you play on 32- or 64-bit system? "game/bin/orangeemu.dll" is needed by 32-bit exe (TS4.exe). Your profile says you're using Win 10 32-bit. So the game shouldn't even start.
Anyway, go to Documents\Electronic Arts and move The Sims 4 folder to desktop. This will start the game fresh, you can move saves back later.

So it turns out I'm using a 64 bit system and I didn't know that the Program Files folder was just labeled as being 86, because I could swear I had a 64. I'm not sure if that impacts the orangeemu.dll file in any way.

Re: Unable to Access Households (Bugged UI/Error)
It's cool then. Doesn't matter if your game is in "Program Files" or "Program Files (x86)", the important part is the exe you're launching. "TS4.exe" is 32-bit, "TS4_x64.exe" is 64-bit. So you're fine, but just to be sure your anti-virus doesn't delete anything in the future - add "The Sims 4\Game\Bin" folder to the exception list.
And as I said before, go to Documents\Electronic Arts and move The Sims 4 folder to desktop. Test if everything works fine (it should), and then copy saves folder back. But just the saves! No mods, no options, no tray, etc. Just saves. And test again.
