Recovering Saves and Mods from Backup

I backed up my Sims 4 game to my USB flash drive and after some time, I restore the files back to my PC. When I start the game the previous saves and mods don't show up. How do I get my previous saves and mods to appear back into the game? I enabled script modes and custom content in-game.

Hello,
Note that the actual game installation and the savefiles (the stuff under Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4) are two separate folders. From your description I'm assuming you backed up only your game installation. Unless you also backed up your stuff under Documents, I'm afraid you don't have your old saves anymore.
