Island Living issue

Hello everyone,

Firstly I would like to thank you guys, your work is great and I've enjoyed many of your games.

The reason I'm writing now is that after installing Island Living I've encountered an issue for the first time with your games from here. There was none while installing previous expansions.

Of course I've installed everything according to instructions, but when I run the game, it "opens" but as a black window and it loads for ever. And by for ever I really mean it, I left it to load and went to shower and cook dinner in hope it would finally load, sadly it didn't. Constant black window with loading cursor.

I've tried running as administrator, moving my "Mods" folder to desktop, disabling my anti-virus. I used 7-Zip to extract files, as recommended.

I have no idea what could possibly cause this issue.

Hi. I also have the same issue. By chance did you get it rectified?

Go to Documents\Electronic Arts and move The Sims 4 folder to desktop. This will start the game fresh, you can move saves back later. If that doesn't solve the problem, run the validator and post the result here.
