The sims 4 island living

Ok so im having a problem with my game. I downloaded island living . and my game was saying something about update via origin so I did a quick Google search and found a few ways to fix it. So I deleted the gameversion txt . and now when I start the game it gies to loading screen but then the game crashes. Can some please help me try to fix it. Thanks.

Delete "game previous" and "game old" folders. Run validator again, this time uncheck "quick scan" and DON'T TOUCH THE REPORT. When there are no missing files there's a blank line. You clearly tampered with report because there's none.

If you don't care about your savefiles, you can also do the trick with renaming or moving the folder "The Sims 4", under Documents.

So go under Documents\Electronic Arts, and find the folder "The Sims 4", Either rename the folder or move it out. Then you start a new savefile and play on. Does the game work this time? If yes, then your original problem could be caused by corrupted saves, cache files, or maybe even mods/CC.
