Download help please. [SOLVED]

I have all the way to Seasons downloaded and installed. I haven't downloaded any since because my VPN expired and I haven't really been that interested in the updates until Island Life came out. 

I now see that direct download is available. That will protect me from the horrid ISP copyright strikes, yes? My husband keeps saying yes and to direct download it, but we only have one more strike and then they will cut our internet for 6 months (Last year he thought the VPN was on, but it wasn't)

So I can direct download Get Famous and install, download strangerville and install, download Island life and install, and then download and apply the new update? 

If the direct download won't protect me I'll just get a VPN but I'd really rather not if at all possible.

Your husband is correct, direct download links are safe.

What you said is almost correct. According to the installation guide https://www.games4theworld.club/t21806-must-read-how-to-install-the-sims-4-correctly you need post-Get Famous update too. That totals to 32.3GB download size.

You can also use my repack. The latest update + those three DLCs is just 7.83GB.

Incidentally I just spoke with Admin ~Ann~ about the issue with direct downloads. We're unfortunately unable to provide consistent direct download options for those Sims games. You should also know that I'm not really keeping up with them. If they get taken down or otherwise reported later down the road, then I usually just leave it.

If you decide to aim for the G4TW repacks and you get to the 1.49.65.1020 patch, please use the Mirror direct download here, on Uptobox. I believe the GoogleDrive link was taken down there. The remaining GoogleDrive's of the items should still work, though.

I know these are difficult times, and money is scarce. Money-making opportunities too, of course. But I saw NordVPN have a 3-year subscription for about 100 US Dollars (a little more than 3 dollars per month). Yes, not everybody may be able to afford it. But it's not going to get cheaper than those 3 Dollars per month. 

As long as it's somehow possible, I suppose we'll keep up posting at least one GoogleDrive link for those Sims items, but I would still definitely recommend to invest in a VPN, in the long run.

Otherwise yes, just use the direct downloads from anadius.

Ill try your repack first. Hopefully I dont mess anything up! 
I just need Get Famous.xbin, Strangerville.xbin, IslandLife.xbin, the p1 and p2 1.53.115.1020 patches, and the no origin fix? 
I have the interactive instruction, the readme, verify xbin files, and (obviously) the setup.exe as well.

I have The Sims 4 folders in Program Files/TheSims4 

Your installer wants to install Sims 4 in C:/ProgramFiles(x86)/Origin Games/The Sims 4

Do I leave it as is or change the folder to C:/Program Files/TheSims4

Change it to where your game is installed, so "C:/Program Files/TheSims4"
