Animal communicating

Does anyone notice that dogs and cats don't seem to interact with each other in The Sims 4 Cats and Dogs expansion pack? When they are lonely they seem to always want to bug sims. I rarely see them socializing with each other. If anyone knows of a mod that rebalances this I would like to know where I can find it. I'm all for having fun and showing some affection but it would be nice if they filled the social need with each other too so they won't look so sad all the time.
