"Ask to move in" not showing up?

I'm trying to add an elemental [from island living] to the family so my sim can have a baby with them but the option just won't show up. I tried asking a sim that wasn't an elemental to move in but again the option just wasn't there.

For the moment try this. Go under your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 folder and delete the following, if present.

- the contents of the subfolder "cache" (not the folder itself though)
- the contents of the folder "cachestr" (not the folder itself though)
- the file localthumbcache.package

Restart your game and see if it made any difference.
