My sim won't turn into a Mermaid Empty My sim won't turn into a Mermaid

SoI have just reinstalled all the dlcs (thrice now) and I still don't get why this sim wont turn into a mermaid even though he clearly is one. I even gave him the mermaid kelp but he still won't change. Is this a bug? Or did I just install something wrong? I tried creating a mermaid from CAS and it works and I've seen a couple mermaid townies in-game transform but mine wontMy sim won't turn into a Mermaid 110
