Name of Glimmerbrook not showing up - saves causing problems.

The name of Glimmerbrook is not showing up as well as the names of the families in Glimmerbrook. They say 'premadehouseholdtemplate' and the names of the Sims are just blank. I moved my saves out of the EA folder and everything looks good now, but I can't just play without my saves! How do I fix this?

If you use any mods, then remove ALL of them, and try the game again. Also delete the cache files after removing any mods:

Yeah I already removed the mods but like I said it's the saves folder I honestly don't know what to do, I don't wanna choose between my saves and the new packs (I'm having the same problem with university)

First of all, I'm sorry you are having difficulties... That said, EA has been changing tuning since Island University, which for some, depending on the lot and Sims within, makes older saves unplayable because they become corrupted. With the University Pack bugs are still being reported. Although, you said that you had removed all mods there are problems with beds, showers and bookcases crashing the game to desktop as well as not working sliders, I'm mentioning this for you to be aware further down the line on all that will need updating. Personally, I have not tried any old saves, as of answering you, however; I have had problems with some of my previous saves since Island Paradise. My advice is: to make a backup of your saves and tray files and keep them stashed untill EA resolves to patch the new buggy pack or modders start solving the issues. The only other option is reverting the game install previous to the University patch.
