The Sims 4 on PlayStation 4. Empty The Sims 4 on PlayStation 4.

Post by Guest Sun 01 Dec 2019, 20:05

First, I'm sorry if I'm posting in the wrong section:

Okay, so I know this may be the dumbest question ever asked but I gotta know (and I checked everywhere).... Is there a code or something (not Cd's) to install TS4 for the PS4 for free? That's to include all packs and stuff and you know, other stuff? I am very, very, very new to the PS4 and I'm used to using the PC for all my mods and cc's and stuff... Any help is appreciated.... Very much appreciated... Also any tips/advice for the PS4 is appreciated. I just did an Initialization? on the PS4 and it took forever! I am only installing TS4 (no other games) and all packs and stuffs associated with it. I want to make sure I have enough room. I am also thinking about getting an external harddrive, maybe a 2tb for future use?

Anyhoo, Thank you so much for your time!!!

I can put it sharply and bluntly. If it was available for free, what would be the point of EA wanting to sell them (for money), in the first place? Smile Maybe you can snatch a few games on the occasional giveaway, but that aside there is no such thing as a "legal and free game", which I assume you were asking for. Feel free to correct me if I misunderstood you.

There are a couple of cracked PS4 games, but as things stand with these consoles, you have to mod these consoles in order to play cracked games. I think people use the term jailbreaking for that. Generally, jailbreaks on these "new-gen" consoles are rather rare and tricky to pull off in practice.

Yes, yes, whatever. Haters gonna hate The point I'm trying to make is that cracked stuff on consoles is something rather unusual, compared to PC. But feel free to do more research on your own, if you are interested in that topic.

Some other basics to keep in mind, and which I can think of. Console-versions of games tend to be slightly more expensive than their counterparts for Windows/PC. But this is partially balanced by the fact that consoles are cheaper than a full-blown gaming desktop machine.

Then you'd also need to purchase this "PS Plus"-thingy to play (certain?) games online with other players too.

You can't easily mod game files on consoles, unlike on PC. In games like Sims 4 that can be a disadvantage, but in certain other genres of games like shooters, it will be a blessing. I myself come from a PC background, and cheaters are so common in so many shooters, that online gaming gets unpleasant very quickly there.

Both consoles and PCs have their advantages/disadvantages, and in the end everybody needs to weigh various factors carefully, before committing to anything. If you're more of a casual gamer who just wants to start up a device and play something, then a console is right for you. If you like using mods, troubleshooting / tinkering / options customizing on Windows, and good graphics in general, then you might want to roll with a PC.

Just some very general and abstract thoughts from good old me!

*Disclaimer* I am not (really) a console player, so clarifications or corrections in that regard are most welcome, in case I got anything wrong in my statements above.

You mention some very interesting facts I didn't know but that makes a lot of sense. Such as costs. I myself own an MSI gaming computer but strictly for the fact that I wanted a top notch system. I am not computer illiterate but no expert either. I am still learning. I am very console stupid tho Smile. That said, I just wanted to play TS4 on the PS4 for free (or very cheap) because the prices are ridiculously high imo... I can't wait to see how much university will cost next week... I assumed that people shared instillation codes like they share games on the PC but I guess I was wrong. Thanks for the information. Take care!
