Help! About the download. [SOLVED]

Hello, Admin/s And Good day.

I have a question, why is the downloading system is quite confusing now with the link-verse? is it still free download? i've stopped downloading The Sims 4 since strangerville and just cameback to download the updates i've missed. is there anyway i could download the game properly free.? or how would i be able to download it step by step. 

and is there a way i could retrieve my username by using my email only. cause i accidentally deleted all my mails. and haven't use my account over a year now so i created this new one

^this was introduced about a year and a half ago, to help us finance the domains/server/VPS/other stuff in the background. If you look at the TS4 Must-Read, you will indeed notice the large number of individual releases. I mean let's think about it, this "game" is almost 6 year old now. What's the average lifespan for a normal PC game? A year, at most?

We know the measure is very unpopular, and people are talking very negatively about us elsewhere. But believe me or not: even with these ads, running a platform like G4TW is no joke and very tedious. Either way, if people want to support us we are grateful for their willingness to endure the ads. Everybody else - and I mean the following seriously now - will not be appeased on here. They can grab their stuff elsewhere. By the way, the stuff is still free, but people "just" have to endure the ads.

With that being said, I was planning a secondary format of TS4 releases, hinted at here. It is specifically designed to be used by people who "have not been here for longer and want to catch up with The Sims 4 again", and without having to resort to grabbing all these individual releases from the TS4 Must-Read guide. I have a prototype ready, even with a direct download link, but there have been some differences in opinion in the background, so please understand I cannot publish the project yet, and I cannot really give an ETA when we will. I am eyeing however, for shortly after "Tiny Stuff" comes out.

About your account problems, I would have appreciated it had you not made a second account, and instead used the E-mail Contact Form at the bottom of the Forum. But whatever. Please submit to me the e-mail address of your former account, and I can then restore your access. I will then just delete your newer account now, once you re-gained access to your former account.
