Help with Unable to start: Initialization error at start up 135dec40:3bbecd0:00000064:0000000. [SOLVED]
Hello!
So I downloaded all the files from the All-In-One thread. The base game worked fine, but then I removed the Game-folder as it was told to do in the instructions and moved the Global batch in the folder. I tried playing after that but the Game-file only had TS4_64x file (which didn't work either) and not the normal one. I loaded all the DLC files and added only few to test them out and I got the TS4.exe back in the Game-folder. I try to click it and it runs for few seconds but then this pops up "Unable to start: Initialization error at start up. [135dec40:3bbecd0:00000064:0000000]". I've put the folders on my anti-virus programs exceptions list and tried downloading all the files again but that doesn't work either.
Any ideas what should I do?

Hello @Styli,
Just one general remark about these downloads: for the future please try wait with re-downloading anything, as it has a tendency to be seldom the key to fixing an issue. About the current problem, my first guess would be you have a bad antivirus program. I assume you have Windows 10, so what you want to do first, is this here:
https://www.games4theworld.club/t32067-two-ways-of-disabling-windows-defender-under-windows-10
By the way, the Global Patch is supposed to have ONLY the TS4_x64.exe. Consequently, using the TS4.exe doesn't work. At the end of the day you will have to choose whether you want to keep your antivirus program or whether to uninstall it.
After you did the Windows Defender "trick" shown above, just try re-extracting the stuff from the Global Patch again. And re-do anadius's dlc-toggler. And yes, please only use the TS4_x64.exe for starting the game.
If you still get problems, use anadius's validator tool here:
https://anadius.github.io/sims-4-tools/validator.html
When you get to the site, please un-tick the box that says "Quick Scan". And follow the instructions on-site. Once the scan is finished, please copy-paste the results that show under "Forum", simply into a reply here. And we shall take it from there, depending on what the results show.
Good luck for now!

Thanks for the quick reply
So I did all of that with Defender and disabled my own anti-virus program (it should be really good one so I'm hopeful that I don't have to uninstall it since I'm paying for it). When I try to start the game from TS_64x window pops up that says something along the lines of "the code cannot be run because MSVCR120.dll is not found. Installing the program again might fix this problem" My computer isn't in English so that's my own translation

You also have to do this here:
https://www.games4theworld.club/t20398-the-procedure-entry-point-____-could-not-be-located-msvcp120-dll-is-missing
I think those C++ things should be downloaded, if you simply download & install all available Windows updates. But check out the guide too. Please delete all the stuff that shows as "Missing files" in the validator report. You don't need them.
Finally, take again the Global Patch, and re-extract just the Game => Bin => codex.cfg file. Re-insert that codex.cfg file, back into your TS4 "Game"-subfolder. Replace the old file when done.
Then try the game again.
