Sims 3 Showtime error.[CLOSED]

I downloaded showtime the day it came out and it worked fine. but today i got on and after the first loading screen where the pic of my family should be there some sort of create a household type of pic. then when I click play it loads in 2 seconds and says.

A serious error has occurred while loading 'Starlight Shores.sims3'. It is strongly recommended that you restart the application.

I checked and I have v. 1.31. I reapplied the crack but its still not working, Help!

Well, I suppose you have a corrupt save.

Go to: Documents (or My Documents)/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/Saves , then you should delete them. (Of course, after you deleted them, you can't take them back, but at least you could play the game)

First check if the save has the word bad on it as it does on this pic



Notice how my first folder says .bad on it that means its a corrupted save

Like Lady said your backup should still be good just remove the word .backup from the name and your will load that one from now on

Oh yeah, I didn't know that I could just remove that .bad file.
Ehhh I'm learning from mistakes, when I had to remove the best family I ever created XD

Also it sucks when you have an awesome family and your game decides to have a mental breakdown and corrupt that save.
