Showtime Objects help... [SOLVED]

I have installed showtime perfectly and all (i was getting the unofficial mod error but that has been corrected) but my main problem is that whenever i go to use the Dj Booth or go to do a Magic Trick my sims always stop before doing the action (they stop just like i canceled the action but i don't) This has been happening with me with 2 different torrents...

Is anybody else having this problem and if you are have you solved it?

P.S. my game version (base game) is 1.31

My first question would be have you tried updating to 1.32?
Also have you tried reseting your sim?

yeah i just updated to 1.32 (same problem) and i did reset my sim multiple times (even used different sims)

I figured out what the problem was.. It was the 1.32 patch that i had got (that was the first 1.32 patch that EA had taken back because of the bugs)

So i reinstalled my base game and all my expansion packs and it works perfectly now
