Town Life Stuff Pack//Service initialization failed (0x024e424f).[SOLVED] Empty Town Life Stuff Pack//Service initialization failed (0x024e424f).[SOLVED]

Downloaded it from PB. Installed everything correctly ( the instructions were super easy) Restarted my computer after installation and the game will not play. I have Late Night and Pets Installed as well but when I open the launcher I don't see the icon for Pets 3 but I do see an icon for the Town Life stuff pack and my Late Night.
I uninstalled TLSP and restarted my computer once again before re installing it back..no good. Same error code same missing Pets icon. So, having my sims game backed up on an external hard drive I wasn't afraid to uninstall and install Pets and Town Life stuff to see if my game will just open with the Base+Late Night..no good. So I am stuck and out of options. I have not updated my game to the I guess latest patch. Like I mentioned before I have saved data on an external hard drive so completely uninstalling the Base game is an option for me but I would like to solve this problem without going THAT far. Thank You!
**** I am about to install the ultimate fix to see if that works

Download and apply the Ultimate fix Found in our download section, it should solve your problem. Let us know.

It did!It works! Thanks!
Now if I want to download Generations from pirate bay from Games4theworld will it run correctly or do I need to install the ultimate fix after installing generations.

If you add any games you will have to apply the fix again, so it would be best to get all the ones you want and then after install apply the fix following all the steps.

Ok so everything was to good to be true I guess. I just realized that I can no longer purchase anything for my sims in the buy mode. It only shows content I have to pay for through the sims site. No content from the base,late night, pets, or town life show up. Has this been an issue with the ultimate fix?

No not usually, but try turning off the in game shop mode to start with.
Are you using mods/cc at all?

No I deleted all my cc and mods when I ran into the first problem. how do you turn off the in game shop mode exactly?

When the First game window comes up to choose your town or saved game, go into options. There you will find tabs that will let you tweek everything in your game. Go to the one of in game options and unmark the allow in store while playing.

No, no luck. Now I can't buy anything..its saying something on the lines of items cannot be placed on this type of lot. SO I thought it was because my sims were in an apartment and decided to switch to a family that has a house. nothing.

That's the only issue I have with the game ever thing else runs great even the stuff pack.

Hello,

Go to Documents\Electronic Arts and note the "The Sims 3" folder. Drag & drop that folder to your Desktop and remove it from your Documents.
Now, restart the game and let us know the result.

No nothing. & it completely restarted the sims...all my saved data was erased...
Let's see what other info I can give you all that may hep
When the sims is loading up an error pops up saying ( on the lines of) "looks like you have installed an unofficial game mod that does not match your current version of The Sims 3. We recommend that you either uninstall these game modifications of get updated versions of them-otherwise you may experience crashes or significant bugs.

When I try to update my game through the sims launcher everything runs smoothly until I hit a point & an error pops up saying Invalid file location. or something like that....
