Service initialization failed 0x024e424f. [SOLVED]

Hello,

I have downloaded the Sims 3 many times successfully, but every time I try to download Generations, there is a problem.
First I had the problem that I had to update it, so I did do that.
After that, the sims asked me for the generations disk. I used the crack again and know there is a know problem.
When I open the sims 3 it says 'service intialization failed 0x024e424f

I have no idea what to do anymore...

Hello and welcome to the forum @Words,

The crack inside "Generations" is outdated. You must apply the newest crack. See this here:

You must use the #Crack folder only. Copy both files in it (TS3W.exe and TSLHost.dll), and paste them into the location C:\Program files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin. Replace the existing files when prompted, then try the game again. Good luck.
