The sims 3 chrash on going.[SOLVED]

Hi!
It works to start The Sims 3, but when I have choosen a town to start in, it loads for a short while and then crash.
I have the following expansions:
1. Master Suite Stuff
2. World Adventures
3. Ambitions
4. Generations
5. Out door living stuff
6. Town life stuff
7. Pets
8. Showtime
9. Fast lane stuff
10. High end loft stuff.
And base game ofc.
And I think it all started when I installed Showtime.
I have tried your, whats its name, the rar file with all the cracks you know. And I patched as you said and well lets just say I did exactly as it said
But it still dont work. And in the beginning when the game loads to start the coulors are not that wierd but a little white all around. I tried to take a Printscreen but it didnt work
The pic got all black in paint. Anyhow... I have been reading alot...ALOT of threads here to find a solution but can´t find any. I saw this link you had posted to someone else, but I didnt understand shit of it. Im swedish to so I dont understand all english words you use haha. But do you have any suggestions for what I can do ? Really want the game to work.

Ah thought I might add that when I open up the launcher it says "Error: Can´t connect to Origin" ... Is it supposed to do that ?

It doesn't really matter whether or not you have or can connect to origin. Some of us don't even install it and it's not needed to play.

Ok in that case you probably don't have any.
Mods are game alterations made by simmers who felt that some things could be better than EA's way, cc's are objects, patterns, hairstyles etc. made by simmers.
You could have a look at
this video that will show you how to add The Sims 3 to the DEP, that's probably easier than reading it from a guide. This method helps a lot of people with crashing issues.

Hi!
I tried what he did on the video, and to make sure I didnt do anything wrong I did everything step by step, watched him, paused the video, did what he did and so on. Restartet my computer but it still dosnt work. And forgot to mention that when I have choosen a town and clicked "start" this messages box pops up but I cant read what it says. Then I get 2 choises and one of them returns me to choose a new town, and the other one starts the game, but in the loading process it crashes. Wish I knew what it said but yeah, the text is in the same coulour as the background... What else can I do ? :/ I have already reinstalled everything twice but same problem every time. And it worked perfectly before I uppdated and installed Showtime. :/

It's a little more complicated than that. There have been "superpatches" for version 1.31 and 1.32 that can cause a range of problems. These superpatches are designed to update a fresh version of the base game all the way up to their version. But these 2 superpatches are causing problems because they apparently have content in them that isn't supposed to be there.
You could try to make a screenshot of the error you're getting, maybe we can recognize it even though there's no text.
You can also choose to reinstall again but with a different set of instructions. Many people are on version 1.33 without problems.

Hi,
I have tried to take a printscreen but when I put it in paint it gets all black, and there is no saved printscreens in documents/the sims 3 folder.
Yeah, I think im gonna try to reinstall everything again, and just skip Showtime... A little sad tho, wanted to play it :/

No need to skip Showtime if you take care which patches to use and when.
This is what I'd recommend:
-Uninstall everything, either with youruninstallerpro (Can be downloaded here) and/or using Ccleaner after you finish uninstalling.
-Restart the pc, this is very important so don't skip it!
When you reinstall, you can disregard the obsolete installationguide's for the most part. No need to use cracks or patches.
All Games4theworld releases should be extracted with winRAR.
-Start by installing the base game.
-Now patch it to game version 1.29 with the superpatcher. It can be found here, size is 862MB.
-At this point you can decide to install everything except for Showtime, or you can patch to 1.31 first. It doesn't really matter which route you take at this point as long as you patch to 1.31 before installing Showtime.
-The incremental (small) patch for 1.31 can be found on the same page you got the 1.29 superpatcher. No problem, we're here to help.
The website where you downloaded a patch before, has a number of different patches available for 1.31, above the downloadlink it says "region x".
At this point you could look in the registry for the region number, it goes exactly like I described above without changing anything though, just look at the number and get the 1.31 patch that matches it.

Hm, I found it but the numbers are too long. O_o I need to press in one more number but it doesnt work. Am I looking at the wrong numbers or should I not have all of the numbers ? O_o

Yeah I am in there, but I have much longer numbers when I open it. And when I try to input the region number its to long :/

Just had a thought tho, I have 64 bit system something, but the SKU thingie says 32 bits value. Can that cause a problem ?

Well I did but I still got the message that the game region for the update is wrong. Should I do anything else then change it to 2 ?

Aight, I fixed it, since I had region 1 I just wrote 1 instead of 2 lol, so the patch is installed haha :p Gonna keep on folowing the steps for the installations of expansions now so hopefully I will have a working The sims 3 in no time! =D
