trouble sending sim on tour

i tried for first time last night to send my sim since no ones accepting my host request, and it loaded for ages and said my sim would go but then failed and said couldnt do it or somthing and to try again but when i went its grayed out and says i dont have an elidgable sim to send! ive also got requests now and can not accept them, my sims is now pregnant but this problem happend b4 then

Do you have at least one registered game? Your sim also has to be at a certain career level before they can go on tour.

Yes u have the base game registered and my sim is level 10 singer it's allowed me to host a sim donut is working its like the game thinks that one that failed is sill happening

Well just successfully hosted a sim and when checked simpler t allowed mento try n send a sim so did it again and it's failed twice even accepting a request comes up with failed to book tour please try again soni can revive just not send wonder if this is because show time is not registered

That's a possibility, but you'd expect not to be able to receive sims either, and an error of some sort that you have to register your game.

I would, but I'm having a lot of trouble making my game stop freezing at the moment, so I haven't been able to properly play yet.

hey lady eldi ma gf's game was lagging every like 3 seconds whilst in starlight shores and she changed world to some other one after i suggested to try another place and she now has no lag at all so must be a prob with starlight shores i presume. she is having probs sending sim on tour as maybe no one is accepting but she has hosted someone i think.

It won't even book the tour it fails before sending a request it alsO don't work if I try to accept a request form another person to send my sim if that makes sense x

Yeah ma gf cant get sim to tour cause it says failed to book tour but dunno if it is because no-one accepted or the fact there is a fault in game somewhere

I have that problem 50% of the time. Shouldnt be a problem with registering though as long as you have 1 game registered on that account. I've found I can take my sim touring once per load of the game, and recieve all the sims I want as long as I do it via the Simport option in the menu (where you save as well). It does seem to be rather buggy (surprise surprise!) but if you keep at it it'll work at some point =]

I hosted a sim yesterday and that went without a hitch.
I have not sent any sims but, my current couple isn't in showbiz he's an author and she's a science geek.

It is. Smart move on EA's part to get people out to the store to buy at least one game. Social networking is so popular these days.

I guess so.
But honestly, several people here are considering to buy at least 1 game so they can register and use the simport to its full capacity. So they are earning a profit they wouldn't have otherwise.

How much are they if you don't mind me asking? You could always consider getting a digital download from Thesims3.com like, Town Life stuff for $9.99 you wouldn't actually have to install it, just enter the registration code in your account.
But if Admin's serious, you may as well wait for whatever it is he's planning.
