Sims 3 Pets crashes after message

Hi,
After installing the sims 3 pets, i am getting a message "it looks like you have installed an unofficial game modification that does not match your current version of sims. etc.." and then it crashes. I have installed ts3_1.33.2.0150xx_update and copied the files from the crack folder to c:\program files\electronic arts\sims 3\games\bin with no success. Please help.....
