I hope this thread will provide the final answers for everyone who still has problems.

1) When you say install, which part of "#Installation Guide.txt" of each torrent do we actually follow?
I understand you ignore all crack-folders. And you ignore all Late Night install instructions.
But what about the rest? Do we still install this patch file; do we still change this SKU value etc. etc.?

2) When it says "your game is more update than the expansion you're installing. If you wish to continue you have to update it later." You try to update online, it says you're up-to-date. What do you do? Ignore it?

3) Assuming I'm installing all expansions. What SKU value should my regedit actually say in the end?

I'll try to answer all your questions;

1. Yes, do the SKU (since it's not part of cracking), but do not do the patches that are included with World Adventures, since those are part of the "# Crack" folder, which you do not need.

2. Not a problem, just update and continue. And if it's not mandatory, just skip it. After all, after doing the Ultimate Fix (One of the last steps), you'll automatically get the latest version of the game.

3. The SKU is not important at all(!). It doesn't affect your game in any way. It's just required to change the SKU value, in order to avoid the "Invalid region" error when trying to install the game. Also, recently people reported that those expansions may install just fine, even without changing the SKU value, so you'll need to experiment with that.

I assume everyone installs according to expansion release orders.

So after sims3 original, you run into the first problem installing World Adven.
Tells you "game must update before installing. Setup will now try to update the game". When it tries it gives an error.

And you say don't use the patches in the World Adven.

And you can't use the launcher to update, it'll say you have an "unauthorized copy".

Related to the above problem. You leave only one choice, which is to follow WA install instructions.
1. Open 'Crack 1' folder, run the 'sims3patch.exe'
2. Copy 'Crack 2' contents to Sims3\Game\Bin
3. Use 'Crack 3' updates

I tried all combinations, it seems you MUST AT LEAST do step1,2 and then in crack3 update the first file ONLY (Sims3_1.2.7.00002_from_1.0.631.00002.exe)

Only then will WA install itself. Correct me if I'm wrong.
