Can't do anything...[SOLVED]

Hi guys,
After two days the Sims 3 and it's expansions are finally working thanks to Admin! So I created my family and went for a home, did a little motherlode and wanted
to move to a bigger place! Can't use anything in the game - no building, cell phone etcetera.
Admin installed everything correctly and applied the fix himself; so what's the problem and what can I do about it?

Did you add in any mods or cc?

No I did not! 
Admin installed it and did the crack and I went creating my family, that works fine! But i can't go in buildmode or have any interaction with my sims/pets.

I can't find anything other than "outdated mods" on this one. But since you don't have any, that can't be it.

Hello,
This may sounds stupid, but try lowering your graphic settings (All of them - e.g. turn off "Mirror reflection" etc) and restart the game. See if it makes any difference.

That sounds odd at best. Can you tell us why that would make a difference at all?

Haha, I'm just kidding, don't worry.
I don't know, since he said he didn't apply any Mods/CC, this may make a difference. Just troubleshooting here.

- Deleted current save game, started a new map and then created a family. It works great now!
