Slowly going insane (The Sims 3) Empty Slowly going insane (The Sims 3)

Hi,
I downloaded from Isohunt what appeared to be and probably was from your site, The Sims 3 complete (with all the extensions from World Adventures to Town Life Stuff), extracted everything, installed all the extensions in the right order (no mistake there, I really paid attention not to mess up), used the Ultimate fix, but for some reason, it said that the Town Life disk was missing. I looked on the forum for some answers, tried some of the suggestions given to similar problems but it still wouldn't work. However, I decided not to lose hope and instead download the game and the extensions from the piratebay download link on your page as I was sure that was "the real deal" and that it should definitely work.
However, after I downloaded the base game, installed it, went through the whole process, when I tried to install The World Adventures, it said that I need to upgrade the base game for it to work but when I started the launcher and chose the upgrade tab it said the game was up to date and that there were no upgrades available.
When I tried launching the The Sims 3 base game it requested the registration code. When I used the generated one, which I used for the install, it said the code was invalid.

What the hell should I do now lol? I'm really starting to lose hope now..

Hello,

Note that the first torrent you downloaded was not an official Games4theworld download. All our official downloads can be found on either www.games4theworld.org and/or www.thepiratebay.se/user/games4theworld

As for your problem, please try as following:

1. Install all the expansions you like. You must download AT LEAST one of the following expansions: Pets, Showtime, Generations, Town Life Stuff, Master Suite Stuff.
2. After they all finished installing, download and apply this manual patch: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1870-can-t-update-the-sims-3-to-v133-fix-manual-patch-updated
3. After it finished patching your game to the latest version, re-download and re-apply the latest version of the Ultimate Fix from here: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t752-the-sims-3-ultimate-fix-should-fix-most-of-your-problems
4. Start the game and let us know the result.

Good luck!

Thank you for your help and the fast reply and sorry for the stupid question but how do I install the expansions? XD
Every time I try to install an expansion it tells me that I have to upgrade the base and when I try to upgrade it, it says that the game is up to date and I still can't install the expansions.
I assume the problem is in the base game itself although I had no trouble installing it and really can't figure out why it isn't working properly. Sad

Hello,

Don't worry, we're here to help.
Let's see, try this order then:

1. Download and apply this manual patch: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1870-can-t-update-the-sims-3-to-v133-fix-manual-patch-updated
2. Install all the expansions you like. You must download AT LEAST one of the following expansions: Pets, Showtime, Generations, Town Life Stuff, Master Suite Stuff.
3. After it finished patching your game to the latest version, re-download and re-apply the latest version of the Ultimate Fix from here: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t752-the-sims-3-ultimate-fix-should-fix-most-of-your-problems
4. Start the game and let us know the result.

Hello,
so I applied the manual patch which enabled me to install the expansions.
From the expansions mentioned in your previous reply I installed the Generations and Town Life Stuff so the ultimate fix should have worked.
However, once I applied the fix, when I tried to start the game it said that the Town Life Stuff disk is missing, so now, once again, I cannot start the game.
Another stupid question: since there is a Start disk and a Disk 1 in the Base game to which one should I apply the fix? XD

Hello,

Please unmount everything related to The Sims 3. You do not need to mount anything in order to play the game.
Now, you're copying the files to the wrong folder(s).

Please watch this video and look carefully to which folder the files are copied: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TrRrF5ysPa8
