Graphics problem
Hi,
I'd downloaded and installed The Sims 3 and Pets a while ago and played with no problems. When I went to play again after a brief pause the other day the graphics came up all funky. The towns look weird. I screengrabbed the problem to help explain "weird"..After it happened the first time I decided to reinstall to see if that would fix it. It didn't, I just today followed the instructions here: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1171-must-read-how-to-install-the-sims-3-correctly and still the problem persists.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you add any new mods or cc before this started happening?

Re: Graphics problem
Hello,
You could go to your graphics card's control panel, or to the manufacturers website.

Re: Graphics problem
Hello,
Please give me your graphic card's model, your operating system and whether it's 32- or 64-bit.
I'll look up the correct driver for you.

Re: Graphics problem
Sorry for the extra trouble, but I am really pretty computer-illiterate when it comes to things I never use. That includes even knowing what kind of graphics card I have or where to find out which one. I thought I remembered how to find that out, but that was back when I had WinXP.
What I can say is I use Win7 Pro and it's 64-bit.
Could it be ATI Mobility Radeon 3650? That seems to be it to me.

Hello,
If you right-click on your desktop, and go to properties, you can find out which graphicscard you're using from the "settings" tab.

If possible, choose "Clean installation" during the installation wizard.
Also, don't forget to restart your PC after installation of the driver. After restarting, test the game and let us know the result.
Good luck!

Re: Graphics problem
When I try to install it I get:
AMD Catalyst Mobility cannot be downloaded due to incompatible hardware/software on your computer.
The version of your graphics adapter is not supported.
Please contact your notebook manufacturer for a graphics driver update
My version must be equipped with switchable graphics, as it is not a Toshiba, Sony VAIO or Panasonic.

Re: Graphics problem
Hello,
Sorry for the delay, we're almost there, haha.
Try this one: http://download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc/pccbbs/mobiles/7vd618ww.exe
It was updated on the 20th of February, so certainly worth installing. Just follow the instructions as provided in my previous post.
