Sims3 (+ Ambitions + Master suite stuff) crashes and the graphic changes

Hi! I have installed Sims 3, Sims ambitions and Sims master suite staff on my laptop (Windows 7 Home Premium, graphic card: Intel HD graphics on board), it works fine but sometimes it crashes (black screen) for few seconds, after that the game keeps working but the graphic and the light changes and it starts going slowly or freezing a bit... and it keeps doing the same (crashing + graphic changing) forever, its impossible to play!
Is this something to do with my graphic card? Can i do something to fix this?

Generally laptops with on-board graphic cards aren't meant for playing games.
