windows 8 issues and glitches

hey so my husband (god love him) downloaded the windows 8 release preview the other day, and it's pretty cool thus far...but one HUGE problem is that the graphics is all screwed up. like my Sims are see thru with little triangles. the landscape is weird with shapes and colors. game play * seems * fine, not that I actually played it all that much since it was messed up. any suggestions? might there be a fix to make it compatible? I tried changing compatibility mode and all different things, it doesn't fix the above mentioned glitches And in case anyone asks, no he didn't do any kind of back up, so if I try to restore back to windows 7 which i'm not even sure how to do exactly...I will lose everything. at least that's my understanding. and I have a lot of CC and almost every expansion and stuff pack. really hoping there is a fix for this that doesn't involve starting over from scratch. thanks all for your help!!

Yes, most users using the Windows 8 preview will have problems playing The Sims 3, because it's still bugged.
You'll either have to wait for the official Windows 8 release (The Release Preview was released just a few days ago, so you might want to try that one. It's less buggier) or just use Windows 7 for now.
