ok soi have all the expansions. base, world adv., High End Loft, Ambitions, and Late night are legal. the rest are from here. did everything. applied the fix. keeps saying i need the disk though. my game is updated to 1.34. then it gives me an error that says operation could not be started. what the sldhfdjkhj is going on!?!? i don't know what is wrong with it. PLEASE HELP ME! any suggestions?

Hello,

Did you apply the crack from the fix?
Even though you own the base and a number of expansions, you still have to crack the game.

yes i followed all the directions i have done it before on other computers. also when i went to do the fix/crack some of the game files like fast lane stuff wasn't in program files (x86), it was in just program files. so i moved it and now have a copy in each....never experienced that before.

is there a reason my games are downloading into program files and not (x86)?

Which version of OS you're using? 64bit or 32 bit (X86)?

If 32bit, then it's normal for your game to be installed in Program File. I believe you've misplace the crack file. The crack file should be applied in the base game folder, not the expansion pack.

i applied crack to the base game, not expansion. could it be because i moved the folder into the programsx86 folder?? ....

Maybe. Please delete the short cut file at desktop. And try double click the game file inside the game folder. Can you do that?

no. i think i might just uninstall it all and redo it without changing anything. i also found sims folders on my computer from the old OS, which i deleted.

Hello,

Actually, Narong, 32-bit applications will be installed in the "Program Files (x86)".
Remember:

64-bit = x64 (Although that one is not shown with the Program Files folder)
32-bit = x86 (You'll see this when you get to choose an OS you want to install, during the Windows installation)

As for your problem, dhumbee, this sounds a little bit more complicated than I thought.
