Cow Plant

I downloaded several of the sims3packs from from mediafire. They all work fine except for the cow plant. It behaves very similarly to a problem that was fixed earlier, but the fix doesn't work. I installed the cow plant, and then it claims to be installed. In-game, there is nothing. It still claims to be installed, but later will again say that it is not. I was able to overcome the problem by taking the backup package of the file and sticking it in the mod package folder, but I think the behavior is very odd. Is the cow plant under some kind of special circumstances? It is the only file that won't work properly, including some other premium content and sets that work fine. I tried clearing the caches. They regenerated fine, but the cow plant still wouldn't work.

I remember having the same problem. You looked under houseplants in-game?
If yes, Lady ElDi may be able to tell you more about this issue.

I did look under houseplants. I also looked in all the other places that the store told me it might be. It was in none of them. (Well, it may have been in the miscellaneous section. I have too many things in that one.) As I said, it works perfectly as a mod, so I'm not sure why it doesn't work as a sims3pack.

I am using it as a mod. I'm just very interested in knowing why it was behaving that way.

Are you actually adding that hello each time, or is that some kind of ante-signature?
