Help installing The Sims 3 Generations

Hi, I just downloaded The Sims 3 Generations and I have installed the base game. When using the Fix for the game and when installing Generations when it asks you to update the game before installing should I do that, and this is before I use the fix?

I've tried so many times to get it right, I've uninstalled and reinstalled a lot now but that message with about the game modification comes up and I click continue but the game doesn't go past the loading screen and I've been waiting forever to play the game now! Help!

1.Completely Uninstall your Base game and all your EP
2.Rest your PC!
3.Re-install Base Game and your EP too
4.Update your game using the manual Patch it can download here https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1870-can-t-update-the-sims-3-to-v133-fix-manual-patch
5.Apply the Latest Version Of the Ultimate Fix!
Start the game!!

I tried all of that and when I installed the crack, when the game enters it comes up and a message says "It looks you have installed an unofficial game modification that does not match your current version of The Sims 3. We recommend that you either uninstall these game modifications or get updated versions of them - otherwise you may experience crashes or significant bugs." What do I do, it just says quit and not continue this time.

Also, do you have any Mods or Custom Content?

Yea but I haven't actually installed them yet, I tried to see if the game would work first.

OK, don't add them to the game yet. Try as I described in my previous post and let me know the result.

It's working fine now, but the game is taking forever to load and I don't have any CC installed.
