How can you apply the 1.34 patch when you can't install Katy Perry's Sweet Treats without updating first? Will this effect anything?

No it won't affect the game, but it'll help your game not to function well. If Katy Perry Sweet Treats is installed it'll patch your game to 1.34. I'm not getting the part " Not updating " Since 1.34 patch is only for Katy Perry Sweet Treats

The 1.34 is not related to Katy Perry Sweet Treats at all. You can still update to v1.34, even without Sweet Treats installed. v1.34 Is just an ordinary game patch. Sweet Treats was released after the v1.34 patch.
