Update your mods/CC.*REMINDER*

Hello everyone,
Just a reminder that if you're using mods, you'll have to update them to work properly with game version 1.34.
It looks like Awesomemod has been updated a few hours ago.
Your Nraas mods don't have to be redownloaded, with the exception of errortrap.
If you're using various mods from sources like www.modthesims.info, make sure they're working with game version 1.34.
Remember that outdated mods can cause the "unofficial game modification" error which results in game crashes.
Note that you will have to update your mods regardless of whether or not you're going to install Katy Perry Sweet Treats.
CC is not likely to be affected at this time.

You don't have mods right? Just cc? If so, you should be fine, that doesn't have to be updated.
Mods however are updated by going to their creators site/page and redownloading it. But, only if it has been updated. Nraas for example didn't have to update their mods, they were tested, and work fine with this game version, so no update is needed.

So what ELSE causes the error? because I only have a few mods (like book of talent, which isn't updated just yet, I went and checked and several of the nraas mods) that haven't been updated and I got the error... but I clicked continue and the game worked quite well....

Removing the Mods should remove that error.
If the game works after clicking "Continue", there's no problem. Though, some people experience crash issues after clicking "Continue" and running the game for a while.

Ahhh thank you so very much for clearing that up. And yes, the game appears to work perfectly well (my daughters played for hours today) after clicking CONTINUE, I guess I will give it more time and slowly update my mods and whatnot! Thanks again!

I don't have any mods and I keep getting this game modifcation error. Do I just need to update to patch 1.34
