Sims 3 Black Screen/Game Unable To Start

I've installed all the Expansions and the game itself, following the guide that came with the download (Sims 3 Complete) however, whenever I try starting the game through the Game Launcher, it freezes and does not respond. When I do it through TS3W it freezes at a black screen and gives an error when I exit "Game unable to start" or something along those lines. My computer is an Asus laptop, with updated drivers and I've previously played The Sims 2 Complete on it with no troubles. I've followed the guide to the last details and I don't know what else to do besides coming to an admin. Maybe you guys could help?

The guide provided in the "The Sims 3 Complete" download is not created by us. Someone put those files together and added an installation guide to it.

I did exactly as the instructions said to do. It worked thankfully, but just a random question, is it supposed to only be the Town Life Stuff launching?
